Usually, mature dogs require roughly 2% of their ideal body weight, while puppies need approximately 5%. See below for specific amounts.

How long does it take for a dog to adjust to raw food?
The most effective gradual approach to transitioning to a raw food diet involves a seven-day process for your dog. The transition period may vary, with some dogs needing anywhere between three days to two weeks to complete the shift, taking into account factors such as age, weight, and activity level.
What can I expect if I switch my pet to faw food and bones?
Pets that consume raw food and bones often experience fewer issues related to dental, skin, ear, eye, bowel, kidney, heart, pancreas, liver, and immune system problems. Those fed a raw diet tend to lead healthier lives, significantly lowering the risk of both infectious and degenerative diseases. Moreover, they have a notably lower occurrence of cancer, maintaining this robust health even as they age.
